A hibiscus-centered identity reflecting the pristine quality of Polynesian water and the vibrant culture of the islands - a premium brand with a mission to build schools for early childhood education in Samoa.
The Mission
Samoa Pure Water is a high-end bottled water brand with a social mission: giving back to the Samoan community by building schools for early childhood education. The branding needed to reflect both the pristine quality of the water and the vibrant culture of the islands.
The Design
We centered the identity around the Hibiscus Flower, a national symbol of Samoa. The bright cyan and deep navy blue color palette represents the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific, while the clean typography ensures the brand feels premium enough for international export.
Pacific in Every Frame
The brand photography commits completely to the origin story. The hibiscus mark floats over a tropical island silhouette at twilight, the full lockup sits against pristine white sand, and a split-shot taken half underwater shows the crystal-clear Pacific that fills every bottle.
The cyan and navy palette is drawn straight from those photographs, so packaging and imagery always feel like parts of the same place. For an export brand carrying a social mission, that coherence does double work: it sells purity on an international shelf while keeping Samoa itself, the community the school-building mission serves, at the centre of the story.
The Result
The hibiscus-centered identity gave Samoa Pure Water a visual language that works on bottle labels, event sponsorships, and community outreach materials. The bright cyan and navy palette stands out on retail shelves while staying true to the Pacific Island origin story. Beyond aesthetics, the brand’s clear social mission (funding early childhood schools) is now woven into every touchpoint, turning each purchase into a visible act of support for Samoan communities.
