Paddle Out Surf & Lifestyle Brand Identity & Logo Design
A vibrant circular badge with a stylized surfboard fin in rainbow colors - reflecting the diverse, energetic spirit of the Australian coast for a Byron Bay surf and skate lifestyle brand.
The Brand
Paddle Out is a lifestyle clothing brand established in 2019 in the iconic surf town of Byron Bay, Australia. The brand bridges the gap between surf culture and street style, appealing to youth who live for the ocean and the skate park.
The Design
We created a vibrant, circular badge logo featuring a stylized surfboard fin. The rainbow color palette reflects the diverse, energetic spirit of the Australian coast. This flexible identity system was designed to scale effortlessly across apparel, skateboard decks, and accessories like stubby holders.
A Badge Built to Multiply
Paddle Out's identity was never one logo; it is a family. The Est. 2019 circle emblem, the heart-fin variant, the Love Ocean concept, all share the rainbow fin DNA while giving the brand fresh graphics for every apparel drop, photographed on shirts, stubby holders, and custom skateboard decks against yellow, red, and green backdrops.
Underwater brand photography ties the family back to the source, the ocean the whole label lives for. For a Byron Bay youth brand, that variety is commercial sense: streetwear audiences expect evolution between drops, and the badge system delivers it without ever losing identity.
The Result
The rainbow fin badge translates naturally across every surface it touches, from screen-printed tees and hoodies to custom skateboard decks and stubby holders. Paddle Out now has a cohesive visual language that resonates with the Byron Bay surf and skate community. The brand reads as authentic rather than corporate, which is exactly what its young audience responds to.
