The Client

Higher Standards is a wealth management firm in Tampa serving upper-middle-class clients. In the financial sector, trust is the ultimate currency. The branding needed to reflect stability, clarity, and a forward-thinking approach.

The Design

We created a dynamic logo centered on a stylized blue vortex. This icon represents centripetal force, bringing assets together and protecting them, while also suggesting upward growth. The “Financial Blue” color palette was chosen to evoke feelings of calmness, intelligence, and corporate responsibility.

Brand Imagery

The art direction avoids the usual financial clichés of glass towers and stock tickers. The signature image pairs a grandfather and grandson looking through binoculars, a quiet visual of long-term vision passed between generations, which is exactly the promise a financial planner makes to a family.

Against premium dark blue backgrounds, the vortex icon takes on depth and presence, while the clean typography keeps every application legible and calm. The system gives Higher Standards a recognisable visual rhythm across proposals, reports, and the website: blue field, white swirl, plain words. Nothing shouts, which in wealth management is precisely the point.

The Result

The vortex icon gives Higher Standards a distinctive mark that clients recognise instantly across business cards, presentations, and digital platforms. The blue palette builds immediate trust in a sector where credibility is everything. The identity positions the firm as both established and forward-looking, helping them attract a growing client base of professionals planning for long-term financial security in the Tampa market.
